About the Role
Location: Munich North or remote
Salary: up to €100,000 depending on qualifications

Management responsibilities:
Professional management of internal and external cross-functional data teams with experts in data engineering, solution architecture, data science, business intelligence, and advanced analytics
Your responsibilities:
-End-to-end responsibility for product management in the area of data intelligence, including data platform, technology, business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data science
-Management of strategic development projects with high complexity, high risk, and significant volatility
-Proactive development of existing data products as well as the development of new innovative solutions prioritized based on the business model and added value for the company
-Definition of prototypes, specification of product backlog priorities, and strategic scope reduction to achieve the defined KPIs in short feedback cycles
-Management of internal and external teams with regard to content, prioritization, and dependencies between business units
-Cross-functional management of various stakeholders with the goal of making the best possible decisions for the business that go beyond compromise.
- Stakeholder management regarding dependencies with other products, services, and processes.
- Ensuring that solutions fit existing and future architectures.
- Translating business processes into technical language and explaining complex technical solutions in a way that is understandable to business stakeholders.
- Coaching and training within the product team, process definition, and optimization with the goal of continuously accelerating hypothesis validation.
- Developing a vision and implementation plan for new data products in coordination with other product teams and the Head of Data Intelligence.
- Coordinating service providers, including the proposal phase and execution.
- Other tasks as required.

Requirements
• Several years of experience in a comparable position in a cross-functional, agile company, ideally in a data environment
• Several years of experience in managing cross-functional and KPI-driven product development teams (i.e., prioritizing the backlog based on the highest business value rather than simply incorporating stakeholder requirements)
• Proven successful collaboration with business stakeholders – viewed by key stakeholders (including director level) as an equal discussion partner
• Proven successful management and motivation of teams with a pragmatic approach and can-do mentality – perceived and accepted by the team and company as a leader
• Openness to unconventional thinking, rapid change, and innovative topics
• Fluent in German and English; any additional language is a plus
