Our client is looking for an experienced Data Scientist (m/f/d) to support the team in developing and implementing data-driven solutions. As a Data Scientist at our client, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data to gain valuable insights and advance the business strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive machine learning models
- Analyzing the data generated along the entire customer journey, from acquisition to cross-selling and up-selling to customer retention
- Creating predictive models for customer behavior and providing recommendations for actions to promote personalized communication with our customers
- Estimating models for optimizing price reductions
- Leading data science subprojects and coaching data science colleagues

Requirements
You bring experience in evaluating use cases along our data-driven corporate strategy and understand how to translate model outputs into business impact. You support our technical colleagues and specialist departments in operationalizing them. Ideally, you have experience in guiding and coaching data scientists and are able to share your knowledge and skills and support the team in further developing their skills.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
• Successfully completed studies, MBA or PhD in business administration, marketing, engineering, mathematics, data science, or a similar field
• In-depth experience in data science and data modeling with a focus on machine learning and time-series analysis
• Experience with BI visualization tools such as MS Power BI
• Strong analytical skills and good communication skills
• Working in a self-organized team
• Openness to unconventional thinking and innovative topics
• Experience and passion for understanding and meeting customer needs
• Fluent English skills
