Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant (In-house) SAP FI/CO (m/f/d) to support the Finance/IT teams as soon as possible. As a Senior Consultant (In-house) SAP FI/CO (m/f/d), you will work with many dedicated teams who work together to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is interconnected. You will contribute your strengths and experience to a new, large S4/HANA project, ensuring its correct implementation and the company's progress. Your responsibilities:
- You will assume responsibility for the operation and further development of the entire application landscape in the areas of finance, controlling, and treasury, as well as their interfaces.
- You will support a large S4/HANA project that is just getting started.
- In IT, you will be responsible for finance processes in the B2C and B2B areas, including core applications such as SAP ERP, Tagetik, and Board, as well as their connections to internal and external systems.
- You will always pay attention to the specific requirements of the high-volume, high-performance, and highly integrated business, especially with regard to quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- You will gather requirements, advise on implementation, and implement new or adapted processes and functions, as well as the associated internal and external interfaces, as part of projects and change requests.
- Together with partners, specialist departments, and internal IT teams, you will ensure smooth operations and the handling of day-to-day business.
- You will also oversee the IT coordination of external service providers.
- You will be responsible for planning and executing tests, such as functional, integration, regression, interface, and load tests.
- Finally, you will create and maintain IT, change, and project documentation in accordance with company processes.

Requirements
• You have a degree in business informatics or a related field.
• You have several years of professional and project experience in the aforementioned fields.
• You have in-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO, including AP/AR, CA, AA, GL, OM, and PA.
• You also have a good understanding of IT architecture and processes, as well as knowledge of integration between SD, MM, and FI/CO.
• You have experience in developing, coordinating, and implementing complex solutions in large projects.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP (debugging) is desirable.
• You have comprehensive knowledge of the design, implementation, and operation of interfaces (messaging, OData, IDoc) in the financial sector.
• You are also fluent in German (at least C1 level) and English.
